Retraite au bord de la rivière | Cabane de glamping en ardoise | Unité 5

Positive: We really enjoyed our stay here; the bungalow is neat and cosy, situated right by the river. At night, we fell asleep to the sound of the river 🥰 It felt like an adventure and a proper retreat all in one! I highly recommend this place for a relaxing break ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Showering in total darkness Positive: The cabin itself was nice and clean. The riverside setting was awesome. We watched sunset over the river via the three picture windows and that was a definite highlight of our day. The lawn in the common space was well taken care of. Communication with the host / manager (?) Sarah was responsive and easy. Wifi was stable and fast. Negative: Showering in the dark: the light switch timer in the men's room was plain awkward. The light and exhaust fan turned themselves off just 5 mins after i started showering. My wife said the ladies' room light switch was motion sensored and she could turn them on by waving the shower stall door. Nope, not on the men's side. I ended up showering in complete darkness, wrapped myself in a towel and walked to the entrance of the men's room to turn it on manually. This wasn't on par with their "glamping" claim. I never had to use the washroom in the dark even in BC Parks campsites. No lock in shower stalls: My wife felt unsafe. It's a property without any form of security. No fob. No gate. No reception staff. You should have the option to lock the door when you are naked and vulnerable, just like in the toilet stalls. No dishwashing anywhere on the property: my idea of glamping involves some kind of cooking in the wild. There were two picnic tables in the public space for that purpose, but there was nowhere to do any dishwashing. Not in the bathroom sink for sure. We ended up just wiping down all our cookware and washing them in our next hotel room. No amenities: bring your own shower gel, and hairdryer.

Een glamping zonder enige faciliteiten Positive: Bank was oké, uitzicht was prachtig en ramen waren voorzien van horren. Negative: Een glamping zonder enige faciliteiten: bed was klein en niet goed, alleen stromend water in douche-gebouw waar geen horren waren en dus mega veel muggen zaten, geen servies of droogmogelijkheden voor de was. Schoenen moesten uit in verband met het licht ingerichte interieur maar dat is in een omgeving waar je komt om te hiken en aan de rivier ligt niet prettig / handig.

Positive: Sehr saubere Cabins. Auch die öffentlichen Duschen und WC sind sehr sauber. Sehr ruhig wir konnten es geniessen

Positive: It was right at the river's edge. Very private and scenic. Negative: As I was a solo traveler and just overnighting, I didn't like that I couldn't park by the cabin. There was no water source in cabin either. I didn't mind heading to the shower house. I felt a little unprepared for my one night.
